Heriots cruised into the second round with a demolition job on hapless Border outfit Langholm. The men from the 'muckle toon' were never at the race and only touched the ball once in the whole of the opening period.

Ian Stent and Marc Teague helped themselves to two tries a piece in the first half alone, and Rory Lawson and Alex Aarvold also touched down in the opening period. Stent added four conversions.

Stent completed his hat-trick in the second half while Jim Cunningham, Stuart Lang, and Gregor Lawson.
