Jed-Forest 14, Boroughmuir 17
Two tries from Ally Warnock meant an early exit for one of the tournament favourites, Jed-Forest, despite leading 14-0 at one stage.
All the early pressure came Jed-Forest and the Borderers were rewarded with two tries. First Clark Laidlaw went over, and he was followed swiftly by Mark Lee. Kevin Amos converted both.
Boroughmuir responded with a try from Ally Warnock, who slipped one tackle to go in at the corner before the break.
A fourth try of the tournament from Mike Blair brought Boroughmuir very much back into the tie, and James Reilly.
Boroughmuir stole the tie in injury time when Ally Warnock broke clear and scored at the corner.
