Hawick 12, Peebles, 21
Two second half tries helped Peebles into the tournament quarter-finals after the teams were tied at the break.
Peebles got off to a good start with a try from Adam Moffat, converted by Scott Nichol, in the opening minute, but Hawick gradually came into the tie with a try from David Irving. Colin Murray's conversion brought the scores level before the break.
Hawick had all the early pressure in the second half, but Peebles broke clear through Nichol, who sent James White over before converting the try.
Peebles' sealed the tie with a try from Dave Dillon, and Nichol converted.
A late try from Colin Murray was only consolation for Hawick.
