Boroughmuir, 19 Barbarians 7
Holders, the Barbarians, crashed out of the 112th 7s at the Greenyards at the hands of surprise package Boroughmuir at the semi-final stage.
Two early tries helped Boroughmuir to get a grip on the tie in the opening period. Malcolm Clapperton found a gap and dived over. Warnock converted and then claimed the second try with a break from the 10-metre line.
Just on the stroke of half-time, the defending champions fought back and Darren Burns went over under the posts. Thomas added the two points.
Some slick hands allowed Mike Blair to cross for another try, and James Reilly converted. Charlie Keenan gained a late consolation try for the Babas.
