MELROSE INTERNATIONAL RUGBY SEVENS

Jedforest 5 Boroughmuir 26

Boroughmuir continued their progress with a comfortable win against Jed-Forest.

A short inside pass from Jason Gill was held by Billy Graham as the latter crossed in the corner to put Jed ahead.

James Reilly broke clear as Boroughmuir drew level before Graeme Kiddie gave his side a narrow advantage with the conversion from in front of the posts.

Kiddie outpaced Gill to run in on the far side with Ally Warnock, the Edinburgh Gunners player, converting from the touchline.

Euan Matheson and Calum Cusiter combined to set up Dougie Brown. Warnock converted as ‘Muir stretched their lead further.

Cusiter crossed in the corner as Jed headed out of the tournament.
