Boroughmuir 35 Currie 0
Boroughmuir, winners of the Ladies Cup two years ago, made an impressive start to ease past Currie.
A burst of pace from professional Ally Warnock took him past the Currie defence to give Boroughmuir the early advantage.
Calum Cusiter, older brother of Scottish Internationalist Chris, added two further scores for ‘Muir. Graeme Kiddie, who won a medal at Gala Sevens having been brought in for cover by winners the Royal Scots, converted all three efforts.
Angus Martin sold the dummy before sprinting to touch down and Warnock crashed over for his second with Kiddie successful with both conversions.
