An Andrew Cairns try put Biggar ahead, but the Premiership side were unable to build on their early score.

National League side Langholm found themselves with plenty of ball and James Sagar was able to make it count with the try and conversion.

Despite the efforts of a Biggar side lacking in Sevens experience it was Langholm who progressed, for the first time in many years, to the next round.
