Mathon Finance Sponsor 2009 Melrose Rugby Sevens

Mathon Finance, based in Glasgow, have signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Melrose Rugby Club in an agreement that will see the event called The Mathon Melrose Sevens.

Ian Cooper, Melrose Sevens Convener said; “This three-year sponsorship of the Melrose Sevens event is great news for the club and we’re delighted that Mathon has chosen to become involved in the world’s oldest rugby sevens tournament.

As the premier short term asset based lender operating throughout Scotland and beyond, we look forward to being part of a much-loved competition, which from its proud roots in the Scottish Borders, has influenced rugby teams around the globe.”
